| | | Valley Anesthesiology Consultants is a large medical specialty group currently hiring for a Surgery/Anesthesia Scheduler.
Essential Functions
- Schedule anesthesiologists at multiple hospitals and surgery facilities.
- Work closely with scheduling physicians and physician managers to administer the daily and on-call schedules.
- Notify necessary physicians, operating room personnel and other scheduling staff of any cancellations or added cases.
- Confirm cases and ensure efficient scheduling of cases to maximize productivity.
- Able to effectively handle multiple phone lines.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements
| | | -Experience with anesthesia scheduling preferred.
-1-3 years of surgery or anesthesia scheduling experience required.
- Medical Terminology knowledge required.
- Supervisory or management experience a plus.
- Great communication and telephone skills essential.
- Able to multi-task.
- Professional attitude, dependability, good organizational skills.
